Replay and compare runs

Re-run any completed run with the same brief and compare outputs side by side.

Run replay lets you re-run any completed run with the same brief and team, then compare the two outputs side by side. Use it to refine a brief, test a different tone, or show improvement over time.

Step 1: Re-run a completed run

Open any completed or failed run. Click the Re-run button (visible in the run header when status is completed or failed). You are taken to the new run form with the same brief, team, and tone pre-filled. Edit anything you want to change — the brief, the tone, or the team — then submit.

Step 2: Compare the outputs

When the new run completes, a Compare with original button appears automatically on the run page. Click it to open the comparison view. Both runs are shown side by side, with each agent's output displayed in matching columns so you can diff them directly.

When to use run replay

Refining outputs

Your first brief was vague. Update it and compare to see how more specific instructions change the output quality.

Testing tones

Run the same brief with Formal and then with Executive Summary to see which format works better for your audience.

Showing improvement

Re-run a brief from three months ago to demonstrate how adding a web search tool or company profile improved output depth.

A/B testing teams

Run the same brief on two different custom teams to compare their approaches before committing to one.

Tip:The comparison view links back to both original run pages. If you want to keep the original for reference, do not delete it — both runs remain in your history independently.
