Annotate outputs with private notes

Add private notes to any agent output for review, follow-up, or handoffs.

Output annotations let you attach private notes to any agent output in the Output Hub. Notes are visible only to you and are stored per output, so they persist across sessions.

Adding a note

  1. Open a completed run and go to the Output Hub tab.
  2. Find the output card you want to annotate. Click the + button in the corner of the card.
  3. An inline text area expands. Type your note.
  4. Click Save. The note appears below the output as a quoted block.

Managing notes

Each note shows a × button to delete it. Click × and confirm to remove the note. You can add multiple notes to the same output — for example, one noting a finding to follow up and another flagging a section to review.

Good uses for annotations

Use annotations to stay organised during and after a review:

  • Flag specific findings for a follow-up action: "Send this section to legal before proceeding"
  • Add context that is not in the output: "This contradicts the Q3 forecast — verify the numbers"
  • Mark sections for handoff: "Shaho to review this before the board meeting"
  • Note what was acted on: "Jira ticket SEC-142 created from this finding"
Tip:Notes are private. If you use a shared account and want to leave notes visible to others, add them as comments in the Jira issue or Slack message created from the run instead.
