Find anything with Cmd+K search

Use global search to find runs by title or brief content from anywhere in the app.

Global search lets you find any run instantly without scrolling through your history. It searches both run titles and the full brief text, so you can locate work by topic, client, or keyword even if you don't remember the exact title.

Opening search

Press Cmd+K on Mac, or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux, from any page in the Forge dashboard. The search modal opens immediately. You can also click the search button in the sidebar nav or the mobile bottom bar to open it.

Searching

Start typing. Results appear as you type, showing the run title, status badge, team name, and date. Search is case-insensitive and matches any part of the run title or the brief you submitted.

Keyboard navigation

Use the arrow keys to move between results. Press Enter to open the highlighted run. Press Esc to close the modal without navigating.

Tip:Search is one of the fastest ways to re-open a run you worked on recently. If you remember one word from the brief — a client name, a product, a geography — type it and the relevant runs appear immediately.
